Students Had A Wonderful Experience

Thank you so much for performing yesterday. My students really had a wonderful experience. I had the group you did the workshop with today for class and we talked about you for at least a half hour. They were so mesmerized by your guitar playing and singing. I had them write a reflection on their experience and here is what some of them said:

“The workshop was perfect for our class.  I loved playing the piano along with him.  It was awesome when we wrote the blues song together especially because of the brainstorming process.  His enthusiasm really added to the whole presentation and encouraged us.”

“I really enjoyed the stories he told.  Especially the one about the gravedigger that played at his school and inspired him to be a guitar player.”

“I liked how he explained how music has evolved and the history and connection of today’s music to the blues. Very interesting!”
