Thanks For Coming To The School
Once again, I want to thank you for coming to the high school. It was a wonderful experience for our students, and I appreciate your willingness to perform in the loosely structured environment of the day.
One faculty member told me that Robert Johnson was her favorite musician, and that she really enjoyed how you presented your program. Many students have talked about your skills as a guitarist.
Some have told me that, even though blues isn’t their favorite genre of music, they admired your playing. One faculty member told me that he hoped you would come back again. Some of my students have expressed a new appreciation for blues music. Many were almost awe-struck at what you did with the one string instrument. That, to me, was incredible.
Thanks again for the time you spent at the school. It gave a much needed emphasis on some cultural areas that are largely overlooked in our school and community.
