A Significant Blues Talent

Brattleboro blues singer-guitarist Scott Ainslie has released Thunder’s Mouth, an excellent album of acoustic blues. This fifth CD by Ainslie shows a mature, blues-steeped musician, who is a confident guitarist, strong vocalist and sensitive songwriter…

Ainslie is a blues scholar, as well as, a significant blues talent. He’s transcribed all of Robert Johnson’s recorded songs and published “Robert Johnson/At The Crossroads.” He’s created an instructional DVD on Johnson’s acoustic blues and slide guitar techniques as well.
