Educational, Informative, and Charming

Ainslie’s rapport with the audience was keenly matched with his versatility, and the crowd was swept away on a musical journey through time and space, with constant reference to the genre’s roots in Africa.

Steel, acoustic and “cigar box” guitars were hauled out, along with a banjo or two, as the history lesson (and entertainment) unfolded. Educational, informative and charming, Ainslie held the crowd in the palm of his hand as he regaled the audience with his unique style. His strong voice, coupled with powerful jazz, blues, spiritual and gospel songs, had everyone enthralled as the crowd shouted out requests and stomped their feet for more.
