2026: Back to Touring
Between the pandemic, the loss of venues, back surgery and the move to Floyd, Virginia in 2025, my calendar has been pretty empty.
I am intent on getting out on the road again, knowing in my soul that I am happier and more useful performing, than doing anything else.
I’m available for teaching concerts in schools, public concert series, coffeehouses, house concerts, guitar workshops, music camps and the like. Please reach out and we’ll see if we can make a visit happen.
At this time in my life, making a difference is at least as important as making money. Respect, goodwill, and friendship have become revolutionary acts in our country. Join me in extending those!

Ojai Storytelling Festival – California
I am so pleased to be invited back to this lovely festival up in the hills above the Pacific in Ojai, CA. Brian Bemel’s welcoming me and my spoken-word/poet compatriot Glenis Redmond back and we are both excited and pleased at the prospect of working together again and making new friends at the festival, on stage and off.

Nestled in a valley filled with orange groves and flanked by the Topa Topa peaks, the charming city of Ojai provides a spectacular setting for the Village of Tales Storytelling Festival.
The festival itself takes place in the famed Libbey Bowl, an outdoor theatre filled with majestic oaks and sycamores offering lovely views of the mountains and the perfect place to hear stories. Located right downtown, you can walk to restaurants, galleries, bookstores and shops of all kinds. Once parked, everything is within a few minutes walking distance from the festival site.
