NYC-Lower East Side House Concert

October 18, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

On the evening of Friday, October 18, Scott Ainslie will present an unamplified house concert of acoustic blues and original songs in a loft space on Grand Street on the Lower East Side. The evening will begin with a potluck supper at 6:30 and music from 7:30-9:30. Scott’s old friend, Bill Gordh will open with a few songs.

The following morning, Saturday, October 19, Ainslie will be offering a participatory vocal workshop for singers, ‘Blues Singing Techniques for Non-Blues Singers,’ (aka: ‘Lessons From A White Blues Singer’). A fuller description of the workshop is online at https://cattailmusic.com/music-instructor/vocal-coaching/ The workshop will begin promptly at 9:30 and end promptly at 11:30 a.m.

The suggested donation for the concert on Friday night is $20/person.
The workshop, $35. There is a small discount for attending the concert and workshop, $45.
