2026:  Back to Touring

Between the pandemic, the loss of venues, back surgery and the move to Floyd, Virginia in 2025, my calendar has been pretty empty.

I am intent on getting out on the road again, knowing in my soul that I am happier and more useful performing, than doing anything else.

I’m available for teaching concerts in schools, public concert series, coffeehouses, house concerts, guitar workshops, music camps and the like.  Please reach out and we’ll see if we can make a visit happen.

At this time in my life, making a difference is at least as important as making money. Respect, goodwill, and friendship have become revolutionary acts in our country. Join me in extending those!

High Water-Hurricane Benefit, Lumberton NC

February 16, 2019 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Working with local organizations and organizers, I’ll be donating a performance to raise money and spirits of those driven from their homes by the recent hurricanes in Lumberton NC. I have friends who had only been back in their homes for a few months before losing them to high water again, in two successive 500-year floods! I had a routed night free on the road and will be doing a benefit for them on Saturday night, February 16th.

There will be a special reception for donors from 2-3:00 p.m. Doors open for the general public at 3:00. Music starts at 3:30.

Jumbo Arts International and the local Robeson County Library are pairing up with other organizers in town to work out the logistics of the event and develop conduits to get the money raised into the right hands. They are doing what I cannot do. I will raise my voice on their behalf two days after Valentine’s.

Don’t let geography be a barrier to helping out. A donations/reservations page for the event is at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/scott-ainslie-valentines-weekend-flood-benefit-concert-tickets-53940040112?aff=ebdssbdestsearch
