On Wednesday, October 4, 2017, I will be performing an teaching concert program of blues, exposing their African roots, at Zimmerman Recital Hall at the corner of Church and White Oak Streets in Annville, PA. The hall is in the Suzanne H. Arnold Art Gallery, a converted church perfect for acoustic and chamber music. It is #8 on the campus map.

I'm honored to be invited to work with the good people and producers at WPSU as they gather material, musicians, vets, and civilians, to look at the history of conflict and the healing of the wounds caused by war, and particularly the war in Viet Nam. W.E.B. DuBois' centennial events are being held all around his home town of Great Barrington, MA. Reggie and I are proud to be included in these celebrations. As a right of passage for the eight graders, Dr. Phil Bailey and his colleagues have welcomed me into their school each year. This is an honor and a meeting of minds and talents that deserves singling out. I am always grateful to be invited again. Friday, March 16th, I'll join them for an hour of music and history focusing on the African roots of American music and the diversity of the blues across the country.
